Location
Freestone is situated in the Bald Eagle
Valley of the Appalachian Mountains in Central Pennsylvania.

well as less than 30 minutes from Altoona,
PA.
Golf Course Overview
Freestone was conceived to provide a
quality golf experience for the public living
in and visiting our central Pennsylvania
region. Freestone was named after the numerous streams
that cut through the property which include the Bald Eagle
Creek. (Streams that are created by watershed runoff are
classified as freestone streams).
At Freestone we have designed a modern
golf course using the natural flow and features of the land. The
course is carved out of 270 acres of forest providing dramatic
views and a pristine setting. Freestone blends with and
beautifully complements the vegetation and the rolling terrain,
routed over and around numerous streams and wetlands offering a
spectacular natural setting for a championship golf course.
