Golf Instructors 2010
Derek Grill
Derek graduated from both the State College Area High School and the Penn State University where he was a member of the varsity golf teams. He did his PGA apprenticeship at Toftrees Resort and Country Club in State college and later moved to the Philadelphia area where he spent five years as the Head Golf Professional at the Philadelphia Cricket Club.
Pat Terpak
Pat graduated from State College Area High School and was a member of the varsity golf team. He graduated from the San Diego Golf Acadamy and turned Professional in 1987. He has worked with many notable instructors such as Hank Haney, Dean Rienmuth, and Dick Harmon to name a few.
Jere Trostle
Jere has been our assistant Pro since 2007. He is currently working toward attaining his golf professional status with the PGA of America. Jere is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh majoring in Sports and Recreation Management.
Tom Boreren
Tom Has joined us as a junior and beginning golfer instructor. Tom has been golfing for over thirty years and has recently begun teaching and coaching golf. Tom has been involved with coaching athletes in multiple sport disciplines such as skiing over the past few years.
John Muto
John has joined us as a junior and beginning golfer instructor. John graduated from Lock Haven State University in 1982 with a BS in H.P.E.R. John grew up in a golfing family and has attended various golf instruction schools including David Leadbetter as well as completing Freestone GC Instructor Clinic.
